Kiruna 3

08:00

After having a quick breakfast, and equipped ourself with the ski, boots and poles, we went to the river bank and had our 1st and ever cross country skiing. And again, the view over the river bank is awesome....!!!

Breakfast - butter, marmalade, honung (honey), cheese and bread

Poles and ski to be pick

Snow, ice, river, snow mountain......

Leg half sink

Skiing in a flat surface is hard, because there is zero driving force, but that's the 1st place to start for nooby like me...

This is how far we get, a wierd shape ice cube sitting there, seems like a place naturally build for resting.

"PatternING" what's the big deal with -6 celcius..

14:25

Time to leave, taking pictures of the lapp's place before we leave, nice place , nice experience. The way back is dark, cold, and wet, though it's only early evening, the place is dark and it's snowing, but smart husky dogs never let us down and we manage to reach to our destiny in one piece.

Traditional Lappish hut, too bad we don't have the chance to stay in

Another hut..... everything is worth taking with snow

See the "P" sign, this desingnate that it's a place for us to pee. Not bad huh, a good view a head, it gets better when it is at night when the wind blow... pee in the cold..! too bad the girls don't have the chance to try this, for those with "stick" only..

Unzip, Aim, and let's do business..!

PatternING... ice hockey

Can you see dog sled, dog, the path and a guy? Ofcourse you can't, if not you'll be a husky instead. This is how good their eye side are....

At kiruna city, the reason is because the lame tourguide who promise to send us to the hut we will be staying for the night wanted to buy a christmas gift for his kid before sending us there... Though lame, seems to be a good dad to me. Anyway we are given 30 minutes to tour around, and it's a small city full of chrismas atmosphere i must say.

Kiruna City

The hut that we are staying, it's a 9 person banglo i should say and it is build of wood by the owner, and the owner is actually Life - the tourguide for the northern light trip.
