Seconds before dead ...

Have you ever heard of you'll see things and your love ones when you are seconds before dead? Well we dunno because we won't ask and the dead ones won't answer. But today, i'm near to death and it's not a good experience.....

3:44 - 11/1/08- Strathclyde Royal College Swimming Pool

This is a momment i'll remember for life. Felt like swimming long time ago when my winter break starts, but everyday i'll have an excuse to procrastinate. And today, at last i've take action and this is my 1st time at the pool own by my University. Been swimming since young, though stop for a long while, think i can at least go for a few laps before i'm down.. But things seems not like expected. after a few laps i felt abit shortness of breath and tired , and i thought it's normal since i've long time never swim. Continue swimming after a wee rest and in between the laps , i felt like i gone really out of breath, but i insist of finishing the lap. I started to felt abit dizzy after the lap and the shortness of breath getting more and more severe. I quickly get out from the pool and sit on the stairway. My vission started to blurred and black spot fill up my sight ( just like when you squad for quite some time and suddenly get up not giving enough time for the blood to flow) thought everyting will be back to normal after some rest, but it doesn't . I felt that my heart beat is beating at all it's strength and as fast as it could. Every breath that i take doesn't seems to reach my lung ( so this is how SOB is like, have a feel of how a patient feels, i was laughing at myself). But things get more and more serious, my vission get more and more restricted black dots everywhere and even though i'm trying to take deep and rythm breath to calm dowm myself but i cant, cause I CANT FEEL OXYGEN !!! and i'm super dizzy and nauseas. Heart beat is at it max, i'm feeling anxious, and restless, this is shock , i'm definitely suffering hypoxia ( insufficient oxygen in body), so what if i know, i cant stop it.. My friend Mr Ding who came with me sees that's there is somthing wrong with me and approached me. As an experience runner, he tell me to take deep breath, which i did but things never get better, his voice get weaker and i started to be sensitive to the sounds from my enviroment, the splasing of water from the pool, the background music ( i still can recall that it's a girl singer, thought i immagine it though). EUPHORIA.... so what if it is, i can't do a damm thing about it. "Am i going to die in this place, not at my happiest momment?" Can't really think properly, i just wanna vomit ..... continue taking deep breath consistently, doesn't get me anywhere initially, but as it goes, i started to felt the air, heart beat getting slower, and i have a feeling that i'm in control again. Vision still fill with black spot, dizzy, nauseas, but ya, i think my soul is back. Told my friend that get worried looking at me that i'm alright. Continue to sit there untill my vision get clear again.(not very clear actually, since i'm short sighted). Measured my pulse.... 80, seems normal. Comfirm with my friend again that i'm ok, and continue sitting for quite a while resting and figuring what's wrong with me. I've just been staying abit late yesterday and sitting around at home this few days, and a few laps end up hypoxia?... WTH.. Am going to come again to sort out the problem definitely...

Oh well, this make me felt like leaving a message incase of any accident unpredictably happens, that never give me a chance to leave my last words:

1) I love my mom and dad not forgetting my sis, sorry, doesn't have the chance to repay you all that would be what i regret the most.

2) Thanks to all my friend who had gone through so much with me, you guys are the best!

3)Damm myself for dying so early without achieving anything before i die and so much yet to discover and tried, not even 1 time engage with a relationship, what a disgrace...

4) Shit, havent gone to japan yet...

5)Pharmacist pharmacist sekalian please understand your patient more, not just disease based, it's different when you are suffering it.

6)Goodbye and be happy every momment, coz you wont want to drop dead crying but smilling...

...... Still figuring what's wrong with me, might be my room lack of oxygen that cause me this few days also "ngong ngong" since i spend most of my time this few days inside the room, never open my window for ages also... haha.. and this is what i found out after i open it, nice view, fresh air, heart is still beating....

Good to be alive!

Happy New Year

This year has been a special new year, not only because i'm at oversea, but also because i'm working, and i'm not working alone, but with my friends at a restaurant. It's a New Year party held in a restaurant and the restaurant is actually inside a ship. We are the plate waiter there but felt more like part of the party instead. The customers are very friendly, super visor is very good, we getta eat the food prepared by the cheft , and most of all, we getta even have a drink, an alcoholic one! Who says no alcohol during work.... Got lucky, a good start for us...! Cheers!

New Year Dinner

May they'll be another awesome year ahead...! Though i'm not a candidate for Mr Universe, but i do wish for world peace and global warming can bring to an end ( If not the coolest hotel- ice hotel will be gone soon...! ). This video, The Mask is a good start for world peace.

Celebration..!

Instead of Working for double pay during the christmas, a bunch of us went to london to try out our 1st oversea christmas...

London Eye - cost me 15 pound for just 30 minutes, manage to take picture and video for 29.5 minutes up there, every 1 was like taking the big ben for N times, dunno for what , and that including me....lolz

Inside london eye, notice the big ben behind, this is a HOT SPOT....!

The big ben is even nicer when it's this near

A street singer dressed like santa performing in the tube station...

"cha xiu" and roast duck rice, delicacy can be this simple.... This is what we are craving for and we eat it almost everyday during the london trip....

St. Paul Cathedral with a bunch of gangster who claimed themself as super model... Nice picture with the Christmas tree behind....

Camden market- Gone to this big version "flea" market when my other friends gone to madame tussaud's where i've been there with my mom... really alot to see and me myself doesn't even sure wethere i had already gone through every shops cause it's so big that you might get "lost" in it.... This picture shows one of the corridor selling variety of foods. If anyone wanted to get cheap food here, come near closing time when all the food vendors will start to give half prize.... Getta eat a box of sushi and a mineral water for just 3 pounds... !

Cheapest hostel that we manage to find which is near the sub... but something interesting about this hostel is it's actuarlly located infront of a cemetery. Imagine if this is a hostel at a chinese place, i think it'll close down in a few months time.... Didn't take any picture of the cemetery, am not sure what my camera capable of "taking".... And supprisingly, this is where we spend our christmas playing cards, "mafia" and instant noodles. (because there all the transportation was closed on Christmas day... ) Luckily the hostel did provide us some food which include turkey, which makes it more like a christmas...

The kitchen is so small and it's not even enough to fit just us, this is where my 1st microwave instant noodle was created (due to not enough stove for me to even prepare my instant noodle)... i'm the one back facing the camera looking at what can we do with the food that we had, notice my friend on the right who had already start eating his rice, he is the Mr "look at my face"......! Play mafia with him and he will ask you to look at his face....

That's our christmas dinner: Pizza, fish finger, instant noodle, pringles, vegetables and fanta.... Not forgetting that the hostel also provide us with some turkey.

Changing of guards, at last i getta see it , miss it during the trip to london with mom. It's boxing day morning , thought the crowd wont be that much as most of them must have be wandering around shopping mall, but it isn't as expected. Cant really get a good view of how the changing of guards is done due to the crowd but there is a series of christmas songs being played by the band after that.....

Boxing day - This is how crowded it is.

So this is how the locals here celebrate their Christmas, it seems that a multirace country like Malaysia had it own advantage as well. At least there will still be transportation and shops open during major festival, because we cover up each other's holiday....haha!

kiruna 4

06:30

It's time for us to leave Kiruna, won't forget the whole new experience here. Flying Nordic air from Kiruna to Arlanda airport.....

The ground is all snowy

Last sight of Kiruna- snow over the forest....

Something welcoming us at Arlanda airport... The cheapest yet filling food you can found at Sweden, 10 Sek for a burger.

12:32

We reached Stockholm and will be taking the night flight back to Glasgow, which means we have time to spend at the capital of Sweden - Stockholm.

Never do any research before coming, so just snap picture that i think is nice. See the building behind? must be some old, memorable building for the locals, wise choice taking it, huh....

The street behind is full of shops selling all sort of souvenir, just the right place for souvenir hunter like us.

There will be always a guard standing in front of "some" building....

A shop selling full of Christmas stuff

Stockholm night skyline

Here goes the end of my Sweden journey, and it inspired me alot and it's really a whole new experience that i had never dream of, it's the COOLEST place i had ever been to and it deserve a rating of 11 /10.... the maths are wrong but it's right in the sense of description.

Kiruna 3

08:00

After having a quick breakfast, and equipped ourself with the ski, boots and poles, we went to the river bank and had our 1st and ever cross country skiing. And again, the view over the river bank is awesome....!!!

Breakfast - butter, marmalade, honung (honey), cheese and bread

Poles and ski to be pick

Snow, ice, river, snow mountain......

Leg half sink

Skiing in a flat surface is hard, because there is zero driving force, but that's the 1st place to start for nooby like me...

This is how far we get, a wierd shape ice cube sitting there, seems like a place naturally build for resting.

"PatternING" what's the big deal with -6 celcius..

14:25

Time to leave, taking pictures of the lapp's place before we leave, nice place , nice experience. The way back is dark, cold, and wet, though it's only early evening, the place is dark and it's snowing, but smart husky dogs never let us down and we manage to reach to our destiny in one piece.

Traditional Lappish hut, too bad we don't have the chance to stay in

Another hut..... everything is worth taking with snow

See the "P" sign, this desingnate that it's a place for us to pee. Not bad huh, a good view a head, it gets better when it is at night when the wind blow... pee in the cold..! too bad the girls don't have the chance to try this, for those with "stick" only..

Unzip, Aim, and let's do business..!

PatternING... ice hockey

Can you see dog sled, dog, the path and a guy? Ofcourse you can't, if not you'll be a husky instead. This is how good their eye side are....

18:06

At kiruna city, the reason is because the lame tourguide who promise to send us to the hut we will be staying for the night wanted to buy a christmas gift for his kid before sending us there... Though lame, seems to be a good dad to me. Anyway we are given 30 minutes to tour around, and it's a small city full of chrismas atmosphere i must say.

Kiruna City

The hut that we are staying, it's a 9 person banglo i should say and it is build of wood by the owner, and the owner is actually Life - the tourguide for the northern light trip.
